It was a real privilege being on the set of ‘Rise Of The Footsoldier Vengeance’ as the ‘insanity’ unfolds. We wanted to capture the essence of the high stakes and stressful nature of shooting to extremely tight timeframes and on a low budget, whilst at the same time shedding light on the incredible talent and sheer hard graft required to make it happen. This 1 hour documentary accompanies the film as a bonus feature for streaming platforms such as Sky Movies, and also on physical copies of the film such as Blu-Ray and DVD.

With so little time, it was really important not to get in the way, so taking an unobtrusive, observational documentary approach proved an effective strategy. The cast and crew quickly got used to having us around and some lovely ‘off the cuff’ moments really bring us into the heart of the action. The finished piece captures the raw and fast-paced edginess of the filmmaking process, explores the film craft elements, and reveals the heartwarming moments of connection and achievement that happen along the way. We shot everything in 4K RAW using the Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro and the 6K Pro, edited in Premiere and graded in DaVinci Resolve.
