HIV Cherub Garden
This garden design project which received a ‘Silver Gilded Award’ at the ‘Chelsea Flower Show’ was created to raise awareness of the struggle and sigma surrounding young people living with HIV. It features a dome-like seating structure representing the NHS, clinical and minimalist by design. As we walk along the winding path, breaking down the barriers and walls of stigma that intersect our progress, and journey towards a place of acceptance, we are rewarded with a flourish of life in the peaceful seating enclosure, constructed using real hand prints from young people living with HIV. The designers wanted us to represent this journey as we move through the space, capturing the little details and vibrant colours along the way.
Our role(s): Full production.
